Default 'A lil' combination question inhere...'

I have all chapters of GW.
My question is, can you combine the new professions with eachother?
e.g. Sin/Paragon or like Derv/Rit.

Or can you only combine your new professions with the basics?
(warrior, monk, ele,...?)

Answer as quick as possible,
the existance of Elona, Canta & Tyria is in danger!...

(Oke, I know, I'm just freaking out again...Getting pretty normal...
Just ignore it...)

Yes, but maybe not until later. Example: In Elona you can make a dervish with a 2nd of the 6 cores or Paragon and then when you build the command base in Kourna you can unlock any available to you.

In Prophecies you can only use or unlock the core professions.

In Factions you can unlock core + assassin and ritualist.

Thumbs down

wowowow,
too quick for me
so, in Nightfall, if I build that command base in Kourna, I can make from my (Exemple) Dervish/ranger a Dervish/(exemple) assassin? (or wethever I want)
(when ascended)

And I can't change a faction character ( exemple) ritualist/ranger into a ritualist/ Paragon? (when ascended, or can I then?)

And a third question... Can I (e.g. started in Elona) choose directly a Dervish as my second profession?

Or did I get this totally wrong?...
(this is confusing)

I've believe (don't quote me on this one, I'm not 100% sure) that you need to go to the respective campaign to get the correct secondary class. So, if you wanted to change your D/R to a D/A, you would need to ascend in Factions to access that class changer.

Or for your Rt/R, you would need to access the Command Post in Nightfall to change to a Rt/P.

For the third question, if you started in Elona, you should be able to choose /D as your secondary profession right away. I know that to be true because I made a P/D right off the bat from Istan.

You can make any combination you want in Senji's Corner (Factions) and The Command Post (Nightfall). You don't have to travel to the "correct" continent to change.

For example the other night I changed my Tryian Warrior/Ranger to a Warrior/Paragon in Senji's Corner. I thought at first that I would have to travel to Elona to do this, but I didn't.

However, I did have to travel to Elona in order to pick up any extra Paragon skills.

So you can take any combination you want if you have all chapters,
in every campaign you want?

And what if you are trying to get the eliteskill-hunter-title?
I mean, suppose you have only factions and prophecies... you have almost all the elites, but suddenly you buy NF... Are there more elitesskills of at sudden you must have, to obtain the title, or isn't there any change?
Is the number of elitesskills you must have to obtain the title, stayd tesame? Or does it increase with the skills of the next chapter added?)

(waaw, this sounds confusing... )

Very much thnx for the explanation about the professions, you really helped me forward

With the Elite Skills, there a total of 291 that you can get with all 3 chapters. It takes 290 to reach "Elite Skill Hunter." The max title for the skill hunter requires 380 elites captured.

Before Nightfall was released, there were 180 elites available (which was the requirement for "Elite Skill Hunter", but the max title was set at 225 Elites.
There's a thread on here somewhere that Gaile Gray started a poll discussing this problem.

I changed my rit/e to rit/p....but I had to wait until I got to the command post to do this......she did have the options of the core classes to change to without paying the extra 500gold because she had completed the ascension quests in tyria (or thats what it told me)....

You could also always go to the Great Temple of Balthazar to change your secondary. It seems people are forgetting this. You only need to ascend to be able to change your secondary there, don't have to be at Senji's Corner or have the Command Post quests finished.
